I’ll be honest, for a very long time these past few months, I wasn’t sure about many things, including how to accept the fact that changes happen whether we like it or not.
We’ve all gone (and are still going) through incredible changes in the world and our personal lives. Physical and mental health, relationships, businesses, employment, financial status, and the usual day-to-day activities have been disrupted.
It’s been a struggle and it’s okay to admit it even if we’re optimistic and have found silver linings and joyful moments in all of it.
We at Summersalt Yoga have been going through the same thing. And just like so many we have no clue what future holds for us. It’s hard, but it’s okay. These past 8 years of living yoga, meeting incredible people from all over the world, and sharing our passion for this little island have been simply magical. The gratitude we feel of being able to do and experience all this is immense.
And that is what makes the fact that we’re not sure when are we going to be back that much easier. We had to cancel all of our 2020 yoga retreats for obvious reasons. And at the moment we don’t know what our plan for the future is.
But we know that no matter what is waiting for us we’ll always have this community we’ve created and those shared experiences will be with us forever.
This is not a goodbye, we’re still going to be checking in with you with some yoga, travel, and joys of life. This is simply until we meet again.
Our wish is for all to stay safe, healthy, happy, and connected.
Thank you all who have been with us physically and virtually. It means the world.
